Dear Mispallelim,

 

Elul is upon us and it is hard to believe that we are approaching our fourth Yomim Noraim season at Kehilas Tiferes Mordechai. For those who have been with us on our journey from the inception, you have seen firsthand the miraculous chain of events and remarkable Divine providence that has guided us until this day; we pray it continues. From the trailers that became available days before our first Rosh Hashana, to our new property that we procured on Lag Baomer 5782 and closed on the very next day, moving in an hour before Shabbos, to our miraculous campaigns, we have seen extraordinary siyata d’shmaya. In only three and a half years, we have already expanded four times. But our journey has just begun. Please be a part of it.

 

Our minyan has become recognized as a warm and inviting Kehila, a center of Torah dissemination, and one of the premier Mekomos Hatefillah, where we strive to ensure that the tefillos are safeguarded according to the highest standards of Kavod Hatefillah and dikduk b’halacha.

 

We warmly invite all of our mispallelim, friends, and neighbors to join us for the Tefillos and shiurim of the Yomim Noraim season. We look forward to very inspiring Tefillos led by the renown singer R' Shloime Kaufman and R' Michoel Pruzansky.

 

Your participation is very dear to us and we will accommodate everyone’s attendance irrespective of financial circumstance. Recognizing our families’ abilities, the membership for a family for 5785 will remain the same as it has since our shuls inception. Membership for a family is $475, which includes one men’s seat and one women’s seat for the Yomim Noraim. Additional seats may be purchased for $100 each.

 

This year we respectfully request that each family dedicate one shabbos kiddush at the cost of $180 so that we can continue to provide a hot kiddush each shabbos. Additionally, for those who are able, we humbly ask that you dedicate the learning and davening of the Shabbos of your choice (which includes all the learning and tefillos of that week). A Shabbos dedication is $250. An Additional way to support our shul is for each family to sponsor one Seudah Shlishis at the cost of $100. Associate membership is also available for $275 for the year (which does not include seats). For those who join us for minyanim or shiurim, but retain primary membership elsewhere, we encourage you to help support our upkeep through associate membership. Seats for associate members are $125 per seat.

 

Seats for non-members for the Yomim Noraim are $180 per seat.

 

As these costs are below the neighborhood mean, please consider supporting our efforts even more

generously.
